No, it's not a horror movie from the '50s. "Blog" is short for "weblog," or "web-based log." I've been keeping a handwritten journal of my thoughts for years now. I'm attempting to start an electronic-format version. We'll see how it goes. For now, I'm using Blogger to post my thoughts. Since John and I do a lot of traveling, I suspect that I'll have a tough time posting on a regular schedule. One major benefit of a handwritten journal is the writer's ability to jot down her thoughts whenever she wants, wherever she is. I will probably end up maintaining both the online and off-line versions.
